This is not just an acting class. It is a reckoning.
This course demands a fearless journey inward, exhuming lived experience, personal truth, and disciplined craft, and forging them into performance of uncommon clarity and power. Actors will be challenged to strip away affectation, convenience, and safety in pursuit of work that is precise, embodied, and alive. This is an active, on-your-feet intensive and will include assigned scenes or monologues; preparation will be required.
Rooted in Bethesda’s unwavering belief that performance comes first, this session calls for rigorous self-examination, radical honesty, and uncompromising artistic integrity. Growth is not suggested. It is required. Excellence is not discussed. It is practiced.
This work is for artists who are ready to be accountable to their talent, their instrument, and the stories they serve. If you are seeking comfort, look elsewhere. If you are seeking transformation, step forward.
