We are now seeking individuals for the following positions:
Production Stage Manager
Our Production Stage Managers lead the stage management process from rehearsal through performance. Working closely with the Director, Production Manager, actors, designers, and production team, the PSM helps create an organized, communicative, and collaborative rehearsal and performance environment.
Responsibilities may include rehearsal management, scheduling, production reports, maintaining the prompt book, coordinating communication between departments, leading technical rehearsals, and calling performances.
Props Master
Props Masters work closely with the Director, Scenic Designer, and Production Manager to source, create, organize, and maintain the properties required for a production.
This is an excellent opportunity for artists interested in theatrical design, fabrication, sourcing, organization, and hands-on production work.
Fight Choreographer
Fight Choreographers collaborate with Directors and performers to safely and effectively stage physical violence and combat for the theatre.
Candidates should have relevant stage combat training or experience and an interest in creating dynamic physical storytelling while maintaining a safe and collaborative rehearsal environment.
Intimacy Coordinator
Intimacy Coordinators collaborate with Directors and performers to facilitate scenes involving intimacy, romantic contact, nudity, or other sensitive physical material.
Candidates should have relevant training in intimacy direction or coordination and an interest in creating safe, communicative, and consent-based rehearsal practices.
Casting
Bethesda Repertory Theatre is comprised of a Company of Artists who believe in the stories we tell. Our beautiful mess, our lives—the holistic communal experience—is what theatre means to us. Theatre has the power to invoke, exorcise, challenge, and become a catalyst for change, understanding, and acceptance.

THE REHEARSAL
A GYM FOR ARTISTS
The Rehearsal is Bethesda’s ongoing workshop series for actors—a space to experiment, take risks, and stay connected to the craft.
Each session gives actors an opportunity to work, play, and explore outside the pressure of a traditional audition or production environment.
Front of House Team
Bethesda Rep is always seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our Front of House volunteer team.
As a Front of House volunteer, you’ll serve as an usher and help create a welcoming, inclusive experience for our audiences. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with check-in, guiding audience members to their seats, facilitating concessions and merchandise, and answering questions about accessibility and production content.
All volunteers receive brief training to ensure they feel confident in their role. As a thank-you, Front of House volunteers are invited to watch the performance on the night they work.
