Bethesda Repertory Theatre is currently building the production team for Witch by Jen Silverman, directed by Jada Godwin, at the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Renberg Theatre on October 23, 2026.
These are unpaid artistic and production opportunities with a young, growing nonprofit theatre company. We’re especially interested in current students, recent graduates, emerging artists, and early-career theatre professionals looking to gain hands-on experience while contributing to a collaborative production.

Fight Choreographer
We’re seeking a Fight Choreographer to create safe, repeatable stage combat for the production and work with the actors during rehearsal. Experience with weapons, period physicality, or theatrical fight choreography is a plus.
Dance Choreographer
We’re seeking a Dance Choreographer with experience in traditional/folk dance, or related theatrical movement to help create and teach choreography for the production.
Intimacy Coordinator
We’re seeking an Intimacy Coordinator to support the actors and creative team in staging moments of intimacy through clear, consent-based practices and collaborative communication.
Hair & Makeup Artist
We’re seeking a Hair & Makeup Artist to collaborate with the director and Costume Designer in developing practical, repeatable looks for the production and supporting hair and makeup during tech and performance.
Master Carpenter
We’re seeking a Master Carpenter to help construct stationary scenic elements based on the Scenic Designer’s plans. Experience with theatrical carpentry and access to personal tools is required; access to a shop is a plus.
Apprenticeships
Bethesda Repertory Theatre is seeking emerging theatre-makers to join our team for 3 / 6 / 9 month periods.
These are unpaid apprenticeship opportunities designed for people who want hands-on experience, mentorship, professional credits, and an opportunity to learn how a noprofit theatre operates.
We welcome all backgrounds and levels of experience.

Production Apprentice
We’re seeking a Production Apprentice who wants hands-on experience across different areas of theatre production. This role may include supporting stage management, props, costumes, scenic work, backstage operations, load-in, strike, and general production needs.
Marketing Apprentice
We’re seeking a Marketing Apprentice with an interest in theatre, social media, and digital content. The role will include helping capture rehearsals and behind-the-scenes moments, creating short-form video, and contributing to Bethesda’s social media presence.
Casting
Bethesda Repertory Theatre is comprised of a Company of Artists who believe in the stories we tell. Our beautiful mess, our lives—the holistic communal experience—is what theatre means to us. Theatre has the power to invoke, exorcise, challenge, and become a catalyst for change, understanding, and acceptance.

The Rehearsal
A GYM FOR ARTISTS
The Rehearsal is Bethesda’s ongoing workshop series for actors—a space to experiment, take risks, and stay connected to the craft.
Each session gives actors an opportunity to work, play, and explore outside the pressure of a traditional audition or production environment.
Front of House Team
Bethesda Rep is always seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our Front of House volunteer team.
As a Front of House volunteer, you’ll serve as an usher and help create a welcoming, inclusive experience for our audiences. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with check-in, guiding audience members to their seats, facilitating concessions and merchandise, and answering questions about accessibility and production content.
All volunteers receive brief training to ensure they feel confident in their role. As a thank-you, Front of House volunteers are invited to watch the performance on the night they work.
