Bethesda Repertory Theatre is comprised of a Company of Artists who believe the stories they tell, our beautiful mess, our lives--the holistic communal experience, is what theatre means to them. It has the power to invoke, exorcise, become a catalyst for change, understanding, acceptance, and, at times, makes us uncomfortable; palatable stories are not told here.
This is a new form, a new generation of theatre.
Those Actors who identify with this artistic manifesto are invited to audition.

An Evening with Company
A Holiday Musical
A musical journey for anyone who has ever felt alone, never enough, or lost during the holidays.
Directed and Conceived by Andrew Rudy Galindo
Original Orchestrations and Arrangements by Stuart Blackie
Produced by Bethesda Repertory Theatre
Michael Gomez
Casting by Shelby Mumford Casting
Synopsis: As the year draws to a close, a single question echoes through the winter air: What did you hope to become?
Dreams once vibrant flicker in the shadows of twinkling lights. Expectations weigh heavy, comparisons sting sharper, and the warmth of the season only deepens the chill of loneliness. In this intimate, soul-stirring musical, a group of strangers gather—each carrying regrets, questions, and quiet hopes—bound by the silent ache of the holidays.
“An Evening With Company,” is a reflective, theatrical experience that asks: Where are you now? Through holiday classics, Broadway ballads, original music, raw storytelling, and bittersweet humor, this Production invites you on a heart-opening journey through disappointment, memory, and the healing power of simply being together.
Because sometimes, company is all we need.

Not only are these Workshops intended to ignite and support creative synergy, on a consistent basis, it also serves as an effort to dismantle the gate keeping, and inaccessibility that is a common theme in the theatre community, and offer an equitable space for professional and novice artists, alike, to work together.

Bethesda Rep is always seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our Front of House volunteer team. This is a wonderful opportunity to support live theatre while engaging with our community in a meaningful way.
As a Front of House volunteer, you'll serve as an usher whose responsibilities are:
greeting guests, assisting with check-in, guiding audience members to their reserved seats, and facilitating the sale of concessions and merchandise. Ushers also play an important role in creating an inclusive and informed environment by answering questions related to accessibility within the theatre and providing information about content within our productions that may be sensitive or triggering for some guests.
All volunteers receive brief training to ensure they feel confident in their role.
As a thank-you, volunteers are invited to watch the performance free of charge on the night they work.
If you're interested in joining our Front of House team, please email info@bethesdarep.com with “Usher” in the subject line.
