Bethesda Rep Proudly Produces stories that actively reflect the social and economic communal struggles and inequality of the here and now.We also understand that this material may be upsetting or triggering, to various patrons. Bethesda Rep will always clearly display a content advisory at our Box Office and Theater Lobby, as well as answer any emails, phone calls, and social media messages, about content, for full transparency, so that you or your guests may make an informed decision to attend a performance.
We will never post a regulated age limit over six, but only offer a recommendation. Bethesda firmly believes that theater has the power to begin a conversation with younger patrons, that otherwise, would be difficult to initiate.
Our Box Office Staff is also trained to answer any concerns regarding Subject Matter on the day of your Performance.
Children Under 6 are not allowed in our Theatre, unless it is a specified Production towards younger audiences.

Whether you're catching a matinee, wondering where to eat before a performance or drinks after the show, these are Bethesda's Preferred places to visit near Boston Court Pasadena. (BCP)
The preferred Mexican Restaurant for Bethesda Rep. Amigos has been serving the San Gabriel Valley for over 3o years and for good reason. The exceptional food and lively atmosphere makes even the shyest feel welcome. Don't forget to order their Trio Fajitas, served sizzling, table side, and an ice cold margarita. Pro-Tip: Splurge for the Cadillac! ($$)
Located down the street from BCP, this innovative American and French style restaurant is the perfect addition to making your Bethesda experience unforgettable. From the commitment to sustainable and organic ingredients, and an impressive wine and cocktail program, Bistro 49 is all aces and a wonderfully elevated place to just grab a drink. We love their Australian Rack of Lamb and Mushroom Risotto. ($$$$)
The pizza at Settebello is closer to real Naples pizza than any place that has ever existed in Los Angeles and we can personally attest to this! Best of all, Settebello recently moved within walking distance of BCP's own parking lot. With the freshest ingredients and a full bar, this is a no brainer establishment to visit, before or after a performance. ($$)
Visible from the BCP parking lot, this Pasadena watering hole has been perfecting the true Tavern experience for decades. Having changed ownership a few years ago, owner Ben Lorin, has revamped the menu into sensational bar bites, and a rotating draft beer menu with some of the best known and up and coming breweries in the San Gabriel Valley. Located inside the Historical Vroman's Bookstore, this café is the perfect place to grab a glass of wine, a cheese board, and relax reading any of the thousands of extraordinary pieces of literature and magazines, Vroman's contains. Vroman's also has an extensive gift collection for any occasion. Family owned for over 100 years, this is a destination for anyone visiting or returning to the Pasadena area. For anyone local, its a weekly visit. Look out for live music on the weekends! ($$)
Owner Sally Cook, an official Sponsor of Bethesda, has created a mainstay in South Pasadena, with her masterful take on Café fare. Pastries, Bread, and Confectionaries, are made daily and some of the best in the area. Their Turkey Cobb Salad with a cup of Equator Dark Roast Coffee is a must! It is also the preferred coffee spot and meeting place for Bethesda Company Members and Creatives... keep an eye out for us! ($$)
Since 1946, Gus's BBQ has been providing some of the finest BBQ in Los Angeles. With craft cocktails, homemade cornbread, Prime Texas Beef Brisket, Memphis Back Ribs, and a scratch kitchen, just to name a few,-- you can't ask for a better meal. Reservations highly suggested. ($$$)
The last remaining building of The Raymond Hotel on Fair Oaks Avenue, sits, the Caretaker's Cottage. While the Hotel burned down in 1895, this, still standing, extraordinary piece of history offers exceptional American cuisine, both indoors, and on their gorgeous outside patio, and has one of the most impressive mixology programs in the San Gabriel Valley. ($$$)
