Meghan Mahowald, MEGG, is an alternative pop artist and songwriter born & raised in the South Bay of LA. MEGG has been performing since the age of 6. She has performed at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and Disney Concert Hall, opened for The Used at the Musink Tattoo & Music Festival, and has sung the national anthem at Dodger Stadium. She was one of five vocalists to be accepted into and graduate from the Popular Music Performance Program through the Thornton School of Music at USC. She writes for herself as well as other artists, is a signed songwriter & artist with Reel Muzik Werks Publishing, and is the proud founder & creator of the annual holiday music fundraiser, A Very South Bay Xmas. It has been a dream of hers to write original music for the theatre and she is thrilled to be taking this step with her incredibly talented friends at Bethesda!
